Red Poll Cattle
Red Poll Cattle
Our Red Poll herd is composed of registered purebred cattle with genetics from North Carolina and B.C. These genetics were chosen to put a special emphasis on both meat and milk production, and to have cattle that can be raised completely on fresh pasture and hay.
Red Poll cattle are a heritage breed that was first registered in England in 1888. The cattle are a medium-sized breed, and are naturally hornless.
Our youngsters are born strong and grow quickly on pasture because of the large amount of milk produced by their mothers. They are docile by nature and very easy to work with, which makes pasture rotation easy and stress free for everyone.
Berkshire Pigs
With their distinctive black colouring with white feet and noses, Berkshire pigs are an average to large sized breed whose meat is prized for its juiciness, tenderness, and flavour.
Berkshire pigs are well suited to life on pasture and do a great job digging our gardens for us with their strong noses.

Blackbelly Sheep
American Blackbelly Sheep
Our registered purebred American Blackbelly Sheep flock is maintained on our pasture year-round. They are a small-medium sized haired sheep in tan to red colouring with striking black markings. Rams grow a magnificent set of horns, while the ewes remain (mostly) hornless.
They are well adapted to a broad range of environments and grow a thick winter coat which does not need to be sheared in the spring.
This sheep produces a lean, fine-grained, and mild meat that is exceptionally delicious.
